We are pleased to present the results of the 2009 UBA Employer Benefit Perspectives survey. The survey was conducted in February 2009 through the joint effort of nearly 140 of the nation's premier independent advisory firms who comprise UBA. Member Firms invited select clients and area employers to complete the web-based survey. The survey results are from the responses of 1,650 employers.
The survey was designed to gauge the current strategies and future planned or desired initiatives of employers with regard to the following three key elements of their employee benefit programs:
- Employer Communications
- Personal Health Management
- Scope of Benefits Offered
The survey results can provide employers with critical benchmarks that will allow comparisons of attitudes and strategies regarding employer-provided health care with those of peers and competitors. It also helps to reveal which strategies are actually being implemented (rather than just talked about) and which ones are really working. Click on the link to see a video recap of the survey.
